Career Presentation

The purpose of this project is to help you figure out what careers are good for you.
In addition, you will be preparing for yourself for a job interview.

The first part of the the project you will be completing COIN 3 on the computer. The COIN 3
will help you find three careers that you might enjoy. Complete the worksheet for the three
careers of your choice. Once you have completed the worksheets your ready for the next
step of the project. Your presentation!

The second part of the project will be to summarize the careers you explored from COIN 3.
Each of you will create a powerpoint that will be your visual aid for your presentation. Briefly
discuss each occupation profile (3 total). For each occupation you need to provide:

* description of the job
* earnings potential
* employment outlook
* education required
* duties and responsibilities
* is this a career you would consider.

The final part of your presentation will be a mock job interview for the job of your choice.
You will select one job from one of your 3 careers provided by COIN 3. You will be asked 5
questions by your teacher selected from the following list (Interview Questions). Be prepared to answer
all 10 questions before your presentation. Make sure you practice with a friend before you present.

**Remember you are marketing yourself to a perspective employer. Every one of you has special skills
and talents that would be an asset to a company. Be proud of your accomplishments and be hesitate to
take about your experiences to impress you future employer.

Your powerpoints need to include the following components to receive full credit.

1. Detailed information about each of your occupation profiles (see second part above)
2. Minimum 1 slide per occupation
3. Animations and fun sounds
4. A Bibliography (i.e. COIN 3)
