Renaissance Project
World History

The goal of this project is to understand the difference between Medieval and Renaissance Art and architecture.  You (on your own) will be comparing art and architecture from both time periods noting the difference.  Your project needs to include images and descriptions comparing the time periods.

You will need to explain the following ideas and support with evidence (art/architecture from the two periods).  Perspective, humanism, flying buttress, and the dome.  You will also need to include the following paintings in your project:  The Last Supper, Wedding at Cana, Mona Lisa, and the images on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.
